Hi, my name is Rachael, and I am the Principal of the first overseas PQA in Mallorca, Spain. Musical theatre has always been a huge part of my life. I have been dancing since I was four years old and went to a local school in my home town in Bedford, England.

Sarah-Louise Copson

Sarah-Louise trained at 'Stageworks Studios' in Cambridgeshire and then went on to complete her training in Musical Theatre at 'The Doreen Bird College' where she won a full scholarship . After leaving Doreen Bird, Sarah worked in the West End of London in many shows including ' Footloose' and 'We Will Rock You'. She also toured Mallorca with The Show Team working in 5* hotels for Thomson Gold. She is now a resident in Mallorca , singing and performing all over the island. She is very happy to be teaching and sharing her passion for Musical Theatre in PQA Mallorca.

Marcos Cabota

Marcos Cabotá, a Member of the Film Academy, was born in Palma de Mallorca on January 31, 1981. He studied at Bellver International College and then graduated from the European University of Madrid in 2005. Subsequently, he graduated from the New York Film Academy (Universal Studios, Los Angeles). Upon returning from Los Angeles, he began working on the script of his first feature film, "Amigos...", which finally was shot in 2010 "Amigos..." was released in 2011 and won the Audience Award at the Malaga Film Festival.

Lucy Torrell

Originally from Jersey ,Channel Islands, I was introduced to the arts at a very early age. I began dancing with the Royal Academy of Dance at age 2 and then at age 5 I began my drama training following the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts syllabus. I went on to gain A grades in both G.C.S.E and A Level Theatre Studies before studying a BA (Hons) in Media and Communication where I specialised in Film and Television and Photography. Since living on the Island I have spent a lot of time coaching children in Theatre Arts in several schools and I am currently in my 11th year teaching drama at PQA. I love sharing my passion with children and young adults and I have been very lucky to have the opportunity to do so through PQA.

Neus Cortes

Hi, my name is Neus, I was born in Mallorca and I’ve been acting and dancing since I was 6 years old. I studied Acting Degree at ESADIB (University of Drama from Balearic Island). I love performing on stage, so I moved to Madrid in 2013 where I worked with two of the most important Theatre Companies: “La Joven” and “Joven Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico”. I also love being in front of camera - I´ve worked with Majorcan directors Marcos Cabotá in his film “Noctem” and in “Foley Artist” a short film by Toni Bestard. I have acted in many tv series like “Mossèn Capellà”, “Hotel Bellavista”, “Gasmamman” and “Der Koening von Palma” (2022). I produced my own short film “Volatile” which received a Best Actress Special Mention at Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival 2021. I have been established in Palma now for two years ago and I combine my acting career with teaching. My passion is an inspiration and motivation for theatrical children and I hope we grow together in our PQA sessions onto the stage.

Jack

Hi, my name is Jack. I was born and raised in Mallorca. My parents enrolled my siblings and I into PQA in 2009. Over my 12 years as a student, I found my confidence and honed my skills in filmmaking. I have worked as a video editor for a British marketing company, making engaging content to expand their social presence. Also, more recently, I worked with Mallorcan director Marcos Cabotá on a short film where I shared the screen with renowned Spanish comedian Agustin “El Casta” Martinez. My aim at PQA is to bring a fresh style of teaching drawing from my own experiences as a former student. I hope to teach our students the intricacies of cinematography, the art of storytelling and directing, whilst also demonstrating the importance of teamwork, creativity and self confidence.
