Arron Barnby

Chloe-May McGuire

My love for the stage began when I first saw The Lion King at the age of four, and it was the guidance of incredible mentors that sparked my passion for teaching and passing on this art form. I have a background in teaching performing arts and have studied Media and Photography. I started my career at 18, progressing from student to assistant to teacher, and I am continually inspired by the joy and fulfilment the performing arts brings, both to myself and to my students. It’s a privilege to be part of such an inspiring academy that nurtures young talent and helps them achieve their aspirations.

Iain Orkisz

I have worked with children and young people for over a decade in various roles and environments. I love how the power of drama (and the arts in general) have the potential to give young people a platform, and opportunity to express themselves and feel part of a collective. Outside PQA, I work for a performing arts charity supporting adults with learning disabilities, and plough my creative energies into making music, writing and performing poetry/spoken-word

John Ambrose

I am very experienced in Facilities and Project Management and enjoy being part of a creative environment. Luton PQA is a truly amazing place to work and I really enjoy supporting the academy in ensuring they have everything they need for the day-to-day running, as well as student performances. I look forward to continuing this journey!

Lathika Shaikh

I am a professionally trained Bharatanatyam dancer, one of the classical dance forms of India. My journey in dance began at the age of 5, igniting a lifelong passion for the art form. Over the years, I have honed my skills through dedicated practice and performance, choreographing my own pieces. I aim to leverage my skills and experience in helping to create an exceptional learning environment for the children at PQA.

Tiarnan Doherty

I am an experienced actor and drama facilitator from Luton. I am professionally trained and have worked across stage and screen, both on projects locally and nationally. I thoroughly enjoy getting to work with people in this space and helping them grow their confidence. I especially enjoy working with children. I also run a drama club in London for adults, called Act UP Drama Club.
