PQA Leeds East is a weekend performing arts Academy for kids aged 4-18, providing classes in comedy, musical theatre and film skills at Parklands Primary School.
At PQA Leeds East, students dive into the world of performing arts through hands-on projects that inspire creativity and self-expression. Every Saturday, our students explore a variety of performance techniques, learning to build their skills and confidence across acting, singing, dancing, and filmmaking.
Our classes take place at Parklands Primary School, with our dedicated team providing a well-rounded performing arts education that empowers young people to work on exciting, collaborative projects. From acting in plays and musicals to creating original film content, our students have frequent opportunities to share their work and celebrate their progress with family and friends.
Our team is passionate about nurturing each student’s journey and helping them realise their potential. We’re here to support every child in developing their unique talents and finding their confidence on stage and beyond. We invite you to join us for a free taster session and discover what makes PQA Leeds East a special place to grow and learn!

Laura trained professionally at Laban Centre London (now Trinity Laban) where she had the opportunity to work with choreographers including Mark Baldwin and Mark Murphy, as well as, performing in the UK and Spain in Purcell's The Fairy Queen.
