PQA Hitchin is a performing arts academy located at St Francis College offering engaging classes for kids in comedy, drama, musical theatre and filmmaking.
At PQA Hitchin, we are committed to providing a fun and supportive environment where young people can thrive through the performing arts. Each Saturday, students aged 6-18 participate in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre, and Film & Television classes, while younger children (aged 4-6) enjoy a fun introduction to the performing arts through our Poppets classes.
Our talented team of dedicated teachers and assistants work closely with each student, helping them build confidence, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships. Whether they dream of pursuing a career in the performing arts or simply want to have fun while learning, we ensure every student is supported every step of the way.

The opportunities for children are endless, and I cannot wait for students to embrace them. I realised my love for the arts at age thirteen when I joined my local performing arts school. I couldn't get enough and went to every class I could to better myself as I felt I started quite late, so I needed to catch up with the five-year-olds! I worked super hard and was awarded a scholarship to train at the famous London Studio Centre where I achieved my BA (Hons) Degree in theatre performance.
