Abigail Hewitt

Ben Hands

Ben is an ex-actor, fight Choreographer and stunt performer with 10 years of experience in the industry. Most of his work at that time was in theatre, performing and touring around the UK, as well as the world. He has worked at various PQ Academies and enjoys passing his knowledge and advice to all budding actors. Especially those, who like him, have had no previous connections or experience in the industry.

Catherine Fairhurst

Jamila Morrison

Jamila has studied dance and performing arts for 18 years, she has trained in multiple genres ranging from jazz, contemporary, tap, modern, lyrical, classical ballet, commercial and street. She is an alumni graduate dance student of Birmingham Orminston Academy (BOA). She has performed with the London theatre school, West End Stage, on theatres such as: Her Majesty’s Theatre, Phoenix Theatre and The Shaftesbury Theatre. She has been taught singing, acting, dancing and musical theatre by West End stars, with exclusive masterclasses. Over the course of her training she has attained distinction grades in both IDTA and RAD in ballet, tap and modern. Jamila now uses her knowledge and experience in hopes that she can teach and inspire others.

Liam Alexandru

Liam is a filmmaker working as head video production lecturer at Walsall College. He has many years experience in a variety of filmmaking roles including director, producer, cinematographer and sound. Liam has produced media content for various clients including the Paralympics, Sainsburys, Walsall College and the NHS as well as working freelance as a videographer/filmmaker. Liam has worked on award winning short and feature films across a variety of platforms. He is passionate about all areas of film and tv production and enjoys working with the students on many varied projects and inspiring the new generation of film makers. Liam also enjoys exercising, playing video games and cooking.

Samantha Plesinger-Davis

Samantha was a student at PQA for 7 years, during that time she performed a Shakespeare play at Selly Manor, performed at the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham and performed twice at Her Majesties Theatre in London, before becoming the film and tv assistant in May 2021. Samantha studied creative digital media at college achieving triple distinction at the end of her two years. Samantha enjoys helping children develop their creativity and enhance their passion in performing arts. Outside of PQA Samantha has worked on several projects including a short story advert, multiple photo shoots and performed in a dance show at the Crescent Theatre.
