PQA Cardiff offers weekend performing arts sessions every Saturday and is located in Ysgol Treganna, combining acting, singing, dancing lessons, filming, and comedy.
Led by Principal Tom and a talented team of teachers, we're passionate about what we do, and we strongly believe that the important life skills your child gains at PQA - like confidence, resilience and communication - will stick with them throughout life!
Our weekly sessions include Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television for children and young people aged 6-18. At PQA Cardiff, we are committed to delivering first-class performing arts sessions giving children the space to learn new skills, make friends, build self-belief, all in a safe and welcoming environment while they explore the world of performing arts.
The best part, there is no need to pick just one class, PQA's weekly three-hour sessions explore:
• Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
• Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
• Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, screenwrite, film and act for television

We welcome children and teens to try our performing arts classes by attending a full session at no charge. Come along and discover what makes PQA so unique, meet the team and join in the fun!

Your academy Principal will let you know how to become a member after your free session. Your child’s place is held for a few days after your session, giving you time to decide if PQA is the right choice for your child.

Hello! I'm Tom, Principal of PQA Cardiff, which I’ve been running alongside my wife, Laura, since 2015. Cardiff is my hometown, and I know first hand the power of being part of a group like PQA—how it can build confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging. I have worked as an actor and director, but these days I facilitate drama workshops, devise projects and train facilitators across the UK as well as produce theatre for young people.
