PQA Brighton West is a weekend performing arts academy for children and young people aged 4-18, based in Southwick and serving the areas of Hove and Shoreham-By-Sea.
We provide a safe and welcoming space where students can thrive, offering a wide range of classes that explore improvisation, character work, storytelling through song and dance, and screen acting and filmmaking. Our academy encourages creativity, allowing students to try new things, push boundaries, and develop a variety of performance skills.
Southwick Community Centre has been our home for over 10 years! This excellent location features The Barn Theatre, where our students can put on fantastic performances and showcases overseen by our fantastic team of teachers.
Here, students are inspired to explore every aspect of the performing arts, build confidence, and discover new passions in an environment where they feel supported, included, and empowered.
