PQA Bolton offers professional acting and filmmaking classes for children and young people aged 4 to 18. Our performing arts academy provides a unique experience tailored to different age groups. Students aged 6 and up participate in a three-hour session, with specialised one-hour classes in Musical Theatre, Comedy & Drama, and Film & Television. For our younger group, children aged 4-6 enjoy 90-minute sessions featuring a fun mix of performing arts activities designed just for them. We provide an outstanding, inspiring and safe learning environment in which children and young people can grow in confidence and gain new and valuable experiences.
In our Main Academy we provide three exciting and unique classes delivered by experienced teachers and performing artists. We are confident that our classes in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre, and Film & Television will offer skills that our 6-18-years-olds will treasure and be enriched by. Our Poppets class nurture the imaginations of our 4 and 6-year-olds through fun sessions designed just for this age group.

We welcome children and teens to try our performing arts classes by attending a full session at no charge. Come along and discover what makes PQA so unique, meet the team and join in the fun!

Your academy Principal will let you know how to become a member after your free session. Your child’s place is held for a few days after your session, giving you time to decide if PQA is the right choice for your child.

Kati's love of performing arts began from a very young age, where she studied multiple dance disciplines and performing in local dance and theatre shows. This continued throughout her childhood and well into her adult life, where she has also enjoyed directing a variety of performances and dance shows.
