PQA Buckingham welcomed a very special guest last week, the phenomenal Jodie Steel!
Jodie joined us to lead the students in a high-energy masterclass based around the hit musical SIX! All students from the main academy (6+) took part in the session, in place of their usual Musical Theatre class.
Jodie has had an extensive career as a leading lady in the West End and nationwide, with roles including Shelley in BAT BOY (London Palladium), Blanche Barrow in BONNIE & CLYDE (Garrick Theatre), Heather Chandler in HEATHERS (West End/Other Palace), Sheila in HAIR (The London Palladium), Katherine Howard in SIX (UK tour), Sherrie in ROCK OF AGES (UK Tour), & Elphaba in WICKED (UK and International Tour).
We were delighted to see all of our students absolutely love this unmissable masterclass as part of our amazing offerings this year at PQA Buckingham, and we know it will set them up so well, as we move into our first full scale musical in December – Shrek Jr.!
