On Saturday 24th of February, PQA Worcester students took part in an amazing British Sign Language session as, for the first time ever, they will be including sign language in their big summer Musical Theatre production!

Our hands can be so expressive, tell amazing stories, communicate wonderful things.

The students were excited to welcome Maria to the academy and to begin learning sign language for the musical number ‘It’s The Hard Knock Life’ for their musical ANNIE Junior.

Our Green Group students Penelope, who is deaf, and her sister Violet are already amazing at signing, and they will both be leading their fellow students in the piece when it is staged in July. Well done everyone on learning this new skill and we can’t wait to see all our students putting it into practice in the summer show.
